I am a passionate Canadian music composer, producer and orchestrator, born in 1999. I discovered my true passion for music composition in 2016, during highschool, by installing the demo version of FL Studio 12 and messing around with it.

By taking inspiration from videogame music, classical music, film music and metal, I created a lot of music in all sorts of styles and emotions through time. I also officially launched my YouTube channel, Dark-Grunt, in June 2017, with an orchestral arrangment from Donkey Kong 64. I continually maintained the YouTube channel alive by uploading original music and orchestral arrangements frequently, while simultaneously  working on bigger projects and doing some small music contracts for indie games.

All the work and experience I gathered through the many projects completed allowed me to get more and more tools for music composition and production, to finally reach a point where professionnal quality music could be made. And since then, things never stopped going!

With time, I developed a great range of music styles, going from epic orchestra all the way to retro 8-bit sounding music, passing by metal and electronic music. I also acquired professional tools, industry standards, to create a professional and high quality sound.

Creating powerful emotions through music always was my first priority. Epicness, sadness, fear, happiness or nostalgia, inducing the right feeling in a music composition is something important for me.

When working with a client, I always try to learn about the project I'm working for, its origins, how it works, its goal and its history. Then, I start small, to get everything in the right feeling and mood. And then, we work together to elevate the musical aspect of the project to something grandiose! I am a strong believer in the idea that passion is always the best way to drive artistic creation, and as a music composer, finding passion into my clients' project is a mission that I want to accomplish.
